The short version
Invoaro's invoice generator doesn't require an account, and we don't keep a copy of the invoices you create. The details you type in are sent to our server only to calculate totals and build your PDF, for that one request, and aren't saved anywhere afterward.
Buying an Invoaro Billing license is different: that does involve storing information about your order so we can issue and support your license. See "Buying Invoaro Billing" below for exactly what that involves.
What we collect
The invoice generator itself doesn't ask for a name, email address, or any account information to work. When you fill in the form — your business details, your customer's details, line items, currency, tax and discount settings, notes, and an optional logo image — that information is sent to our server over an encrypted connection for two things only:
- Calculating your subtotal, discount, tax, and total for the on-screen preview
- Generating the PDF file when you click Download
We don't write this information to a database, and we don't build a profile of you or your invoices. Once your PDF is generated and sent back to your browser, we're done with that request.
Buying Invoaro Billing
If you buy an Invoaro Billing license through checkout, we collect your full name, email address, and country to create your order, and we keep a record of that order, your license, and which device(s) it has been activated on, so we can issue your license, support you, and let you recover a lost license key.
Payment is handled by Razorpay, our payment processor — Invoaro never sees or stores your card, UPI, or other payment instrument details; that information goes directly to Razorpay. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed.
Your license key is sent by email through our email delivery provider. If you lose it, License Recovery sends it again to the email address on your order.
We currently keep order, license, and device-activation records indefinitely, so we can continue to support your license and help with recovery if you need it. If that changes, we'll update this page to describe the new policy before it takes effect.
Cookies
Invoaro's forms (including the invoice generator and checkout) use one strictly necessary cookie to protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) — a standard web-security measure. It doesn't identify you personally and isn't used for tracking, advertising, or analytics. Invoaro doesn't run any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts, and doesn't use the order-status or license-recovery link in your email for tracking either — it exists only so you (or we, if you contact support) can look up your order.
Server logs
Like most web applications, our hosting environment may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, request timestamp, and page requested) for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used to build a profile of individual users.
If we contact you directly
If you email us at support@invoaro.com, we'll use your email address only to reply to you — not for marketing, and not shared with anyone else.
Children's privacy
Invoaro is a business tool and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle information changes — for example, if a future feature like saved invoices requires an account — we'll update this page to describe it accurately before that feature ships.
